I grew up in a family of non-churchgoers, proclaimed myself an atheist as a teenager, and then Jesus brought me to my senses when I was 16.

Since then I’ve been to university twice, married my wonderful wife Carol, been blessed with seven great children, and now I’m really excited to be helping God’s people grow God’s kingdom here in Worcester Diocese.

I hail from up north – so supporting Sunderland is in my blood, but my wife Carol is a local girl – from Malvern – so I know the area reasonably well.

When I’m not being a dad to my kids and a husband to Carol, I enjoy walking, photography, most sports and debating things over coffee (who’s buying?).
